There are people in our community who for a variety of reasons are unable to cook or shop for themselves with ease. Their ability to live independently is enhanced by the Sutherland Food Services service.

No, Sutherland Food Services is an independent community based organisation, incorporated in NSW with oversight by a volunteer Board. The cost of meals is primarily covered by our modest charges, with the balance coming from The Department of Health.

Anybody who has difficulty with shopping or cooking for themselves can use the service. There may be an additional small charge depending on your circumstances however give us a call and we can discuss and source the best option for you.

How do I access your service and do I need a referral?2017-11-29T23:15:36+00:00

A simple call can be made to our office on (02) 9540 7365 where one of our staff can assist you over the phone. Referrals can come from anywhere, including; family members, friends and even by referring yourself. Formal referrals are also happily accepted from general practitioners, heath care professionals, community care providers or your local council.  If you are over 65 it is recommended that you contact My Aged Care on 1800 200 422.

We will work with you to commence the service as quickly as possible depending on your circumstances.

Our meals are produced through our network of reliable and trusted providers. We are also able to source a variety of special meals such as pureed or blended meals.

No. It’s is entirely your choice to suit your lifestyle. Sutherland Food Services can provide breakfast, lunch or dinner.

How do I pay for my meals?2017-11-29T23:14:04+00:00

We send out detailed monthly Invoices and Statements at the beginning of each month with a variety of payment options including Direct Debits.
